How to reach the ARPAOUZA:
You can reach Castello going along the Statale (SS) n. 21 of the Colle della Maddalena that crosses the Valle Stura (Stura Valley) from Borgo San Dalmazzo (CN) to the Colle della Maddalena.
Passed Pietraporzio (1246 m. and 42 km from Borgo S. D.), right after the camping, you’ll find a street on the right that leads to Castello. Once in Castello, after a few meters you’ll get to the Arpaouza. The parking of the house is on the back.
From TURIN
Highway A6 Torino-Savona or the Strada Statale 589 (S.S.) Laghi di Avigliana: Pinerolo – Saluzzo - Verzuolo - Busca – Cuneo; Than Borgo San Dalmazzo, by the SS 20.
From GENOA and SAVONA
Highway A10 Genoa-Ventimiglia : exit Savona (A6) ; Highway Savona-Torino A6: exit at the tollbooths Marene, Fossano, Mondovì (the exit Cuneo is not ready yet).
Follow for Cuneo and than Borgo San Dalmazzo.
From NICE and VENTIMIGLIA
Strada Statale (S. S.) n. 20 of the Colle di Tenda. When in Limone, follow for Vernante-Borgo San Dalmazzo.
From MILANO:
Highway A7 Milano-Torino – A6 Torino-Savona.
From FRANCE
DFrom Grenoble, follow for Briancon and go south following for Guillestre. Pass the Col de Vars (2109 m. open all year round) and enter in Italy from the Colle della Maddalena. Go down the valley until Pietraporzio.
With the train
You should travel on the Railway line Torino-Cuneo or on the Ventimiglia-Borgo San Dalmazzo.www.ferroviedellostato.it
